UNESCO MISTAKEN POINT
Visual Identity, Editorial Design, Spatial Design, Digital Design, Poster/Print, 3D Design
Located at the south-eastern tip of the island of Newfoundland, in eastern Canada, Mistaken Point’s fossils contain the history of Earth’s living organisms during the Ediacaran Period. This was when the
first large, biologically complex organisms appeared on the planet, after almost three billion years of micro-dominated evolution.
BOOKLET
A booklet available at the Mistaken Point's visitor center combines information from two booklets into one single information guide. The narrow pages detail the site's key features and history, and the larger pages describe the significance of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
PHYSICAL APPLICATIONS
UNESCO site signs available in English, French, Russian, Arabic, Spanish, and Chinese containing a brief description of Mistaken Point. They are situated along a pathway leading to the main viewing site, arranged in a spread out, alternating manner to avoid crowding. The signage is made of a frosted glass material elevated by stone bases.
